Description
Equip a Late Roman Christian regiment with this set of 36 pre-cut Chi-Rho shield decals. Ready to apply directly to Wargames Atlantic plastic shields, the set provides a convenient way to add one of the most recognizable symbols of the later Roman Empire.
The Chi-Rho combines the first two Greek letters of Christos into a single monogram. According to the early writer Lactantius, Constantine ordered the heavenly sign placed on his soldiers' shields before the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in AD 312. The design is suitable for Christian regiments of the fourth and fifth centuries.
