Description
Represent the Schola Scutariorum Secunda with this set of 36 pre-cut shield decals for Late Roman imperial guardsmen. The decals are ready for direct application to Wargames Atlantic plastic shields and offer a convenient finish for mounted guard units.
The scholae were created by Constantine after he disbanded the Praetorian Guard following the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in AD 312. These elite cavalry formations served as the emperor's personal escort. The pattern is recorded in the Notitia Dignitatum.
