Description
Add an authentic Late Roman identity to your miniatures with this set of 36 shield decals for the Cornuti Seniores, an elite regiment of the Western field army. The decals are pre-cut for convenient application and are designed to fit Wargames Atlantic plastic shields.
Known as "the horned ones," the Cornuti Seniores were raised from Germanic manpower along the Rhine. They fought in the front line at Strasbourg in AD 357, where their distinctive barritus war cry rose from a murmur into a roar. The shield pattern is recorded in the Notitia Dignitatum.
